Meta Workplace "Helping you be you"
Eight voices, three continents, one day.
When Meta relaunched Workplace, its collaborative software platform, the campaign needed to run internationally across the UK, the US and Australia. Each territory required locally cast voices and native accents, all produced to a consistent creative standard. The timeline and the budget were tight.
We were brought in by creative agency Across The Pond alongside Meta’s own creative team, and our job was to make their scripts work as produced audio across all three markets, and get them made quickly but to the highest standards.
We cast multiple voices spanning three continents and recorded every part in a single day - local talent down the line from studios in Sydney and the US, and live sessions at our London studio. Co-ordinating that across time zones and keeping the creative consistent required precise planning and a clear point of view on performance.
Natural delivery was the priority
These weren’t announcer reads - they needed to feel like real people in real work situations. We added sound design to differentiate office, outdoor and work-from-home environments, giving each scene a sense of place without overwhelming the dialogue.
The music was Shirley Ellis’s “Clapping Song”, chosen by the creative team for its energy and familiarity. We stripped the vocals where necessary so the brand message could punch through cleanly.
Eight voices, three continents, one day. The campaign launched across the UK, US and Australia with a consistent tone and locally authentic performances in every market. For Meta, it proved that international audio doesn’t have to mean compromise. It just requires a production partner who knows how to hold the creative together across borders.
