Heritage that doesn't sound old-fashioned
When agency Crowd undertook a complete visual rebrand of Stirling Ackroyd - one of London's longest-established estate agents - they knew the brand needed a soundtrack to match. But audio branding wasn't their specialism. So they called us.
The brief: create a comprehensive sonic identity that celebrates the brand's long history while embracing the modernity of the rebrand. Something that works across broadcast ads, on-hold music, online content and beyond.
Building from a single sound
We started with the sonic brand trigger: a short, distinctive audio signature that would become the foundation for everything else. From there, we composed a long-form theme built thematically from the trigger, with multiple layers and parts that could be mixed into different versions for different applications.
The instrumentation leans classical, reflecting heritage, but the tempo, rhythm and feel are contemporary.
The right voice
For the broadcast ads, we cast a voice that balanced authority with approachability. Credible enough for a property brand. Human enough that you'd actually want to call them.

Stirling Ackroyd got a complete sonic identity that works in lockstep with the visual rebrand - consistent across every touchpoint, from a 5-second trigger to a full-length theme.
