Who we are
Trisonic is an audio advertising and branded podcast agency. References to "we", "us", and "our" in this notice refer to Trisonic.

What data we collect
When you apply for a role at Trisonic, we may collect and process the following personal data:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your CV, covering letter, and any supporting materials you choose to send
- Employment history, qualifications, and skills
- Information shared during interviews or assessments
- Details of your right to work in the UK, if relevant at offer stage
- Any other information you volunteer during the recruitment process
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send, sensitive personal data (such as health information, ethnicity, or religion) unless we have specifically requested it and explained why.
How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Assess your application and suitability for the role
- Communicate with you about the recruitment process
- Arrange and conduct interviews or assessments
- Make and communicate a hiring decision
- Comply with legal obligations, including right to work checks
Our legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of:
- Legitimate interests — to assess candidates and fill vacancies within our business
- Legal obligation — where we are required to verify your right to work
- Consent — where you have actively provided information beyond what we have requested
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced these against your rights and are satisfied that our processing does not override your interests or freedoms.
Who we share your data with
We will not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

- Members of the Trisonic team involved in the recruitment process
- Third-party service providers who support our recruitment (such as email or document platforms), who are bound by appropriate data processing agreements
- Regulatory authorities or law enforcement if required by law
How long we keep your data
If your application is unsuccessful, we will retain your personal data for up to six months from the date we notify you of our decision. We do this in case questions arise about the recruitment process.
After six months, your data will be securely deleted unless you have given us explicit consent to retain it for future opportunities.
If you are offered and accept a role with us, your application data will be transferred to your employee record and retained in line with our general data retention policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request that we delete your personal data (subject to any legal obligations)
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data
- Withdraw consent where we are relying on consent as our legal basis
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
