Trisonic is an audio content agency based in the United Kingdom. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal data submitted as part of an application to join the Trisonic Collective, our network of freelance audio and podcast professionals.

What data we collect

When you apply to join the Trisonic Collective, we may collect:

1. Your name and contact details (email address, phone number, postal address)
2. Your CV and professional history
3. Work samples, portfolio links, and showreels
4. Correspondence sent to us as part of your application

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

We collect and process your personal data to assess your suitability for freelance work opportunities within the Trisonic Collective. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, our interest in maintaining a pool of qualified freelance professionals, balanced against your interest in being considered for relevant opportunities.

We will only use your data for the purpose of considering you for work engagements. We will not use it for marketing or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

How long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as your application to the Trisonic Collective remains active. If you would like your data removed at any point, simply contact us at collective@trisonic.co.uk (mailto:collective@trisonic.co.uk) and we will delete your records within 30 days.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely in Airtable, a cloud-based database tool operated by Formagrid Inc. (Airtable), which is based in the United States. Airtable is certified under the UK-US Data Bridge, which provides an appropriate legal mechanism for transferring personal data from the UK to the US. Airtable processes data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement, and does not use your data for its own purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erase your data (the "right to be forgotten")
• Restrict how we process your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
