The Client

Stirling Ackroyd is a long-established estate agency specialising in residential and commercial sales and lettings across London and the South East.

The Brief

Trisonic was invited by the Crowd agency to devise and produce a suite of audio branding elements in tandem with a visual rebranding for Stirling Ackroyd. The principal required elements were a sonic brand trigger, a long form theme for use online and on hold, and a short form theme for use in broadcast ads. As one of London’s longest established estate agents, Stirling Ackroyd’s heritage was at the core of the brief.

The Solution

The challenge was to bring across the brand’s heritage without it sounding old-fashioned. While the instrumentation of the sonic ID and theme is largely classical, the tempo, rhythm and feel is very much of today. Once the sonic brand trigger had been created, we created a long form track thematic to it with a number of different layers and parts, from which we mixed versions for different applications. For the radio ads, we cast a voice with a careful balance of authority and approachability.
