Maximuscle is the original sports nutrition and health supplements brand in the UK. Supporting athletes, fitness and healthy lifestyles since 1995.

The brief

Maximuscle wanted to use audio to promote its products during the 2021 Six Nations Rugby Tournament.

The task was to select media that allowed specific targeting to an engaged rugby fan base, and produce audio which resonated with them.

The solution

Podcasts were selected as the media option because we know they offer targeting flexibility by genre of interest, and can reach an audience that is fully engaged with the podcast show content, as it’s an active listening choice.

The activity ran across various rugby podcasts, and the messaging was further enhanced by the choice of voice for the campaign –  England prop forward, Kyle Sinckler.
