The Client

Nature Valley launched its granola bar in 1975 and is famous worldwide for offering a range of snack products, all made with natural ingredients.

The Brief

Nature Valley is lead sponsor of the Gone Wild Festival with Bear Grylls, billed as ‘the ultimate family adventure’ and being staged at Powderham Castle, Devon in August 2021. The accent during the day is on outdoor activities such as kayaking, ziplining and archery; during the evening it’s time to wind down and enjoy live music from top artists.

Our brief was to appeal to families to book (or even win) tickets and bring this event to life in 3D.

The Solution

Many of the sound effects for these ads were specially recorded in binaural 3D: for instance, we took our 3D microphone on a walk through the forest at dawn, and on a canoe ride down the river.

We then assembled these and more effects in the studio, and worked with our voice artist to ensure that she, and the listener, was immersed in the scenes.
