The Client

Nature Valley launched its granola bar in 1975 and is famous worldwide for offering a range of snack products, all made with natural ingredients.

The Brief

The client wanted to help listeners connect with Nature by delivering an emotive and immersive advertising experience. They wanted to reach listeners at key times of day, such as their morning commute or when they are chilling out in the evening, allowing Nature Valley to give them a moment out from their hectic daily life to connect them with Nature and the great outdoors.

The Solution

Binaural 3D audio gave Nature Valley the immersive experience they needed. Each execution focuses on a different product, and each takes the listener from an indoor environment to the great outdoors.  From a train to a forest, from a living room to a hillside, and from a kitchen to a park.

Effects were specially recorded using a binaural microphone ‘head’ (his name is Bert by the way!), and mixed in the studio with the voice, who again was recorded binaurally so we could move her around the 3D sound stage.  An incredibly involving listen.
