Case Study

The Client

National Eczema Society is the UK charity for everyone affected by eczema. Formed in 1975, the society is committed to making life easier for the 1 in 5 children and 1 in 10 adults who suffer from eczema.

The Brief

National Eczema Society raised awareness of the true impact of eczema during National Eczema Week in September 2023. The More than “Just an Itch” campaign highlighted the debilitating nature of eczema and its profound effect on people’s lives, and shone a light on the mental health impacts of eczema that are so often overlooked.

An integral part of the campaign was a podcast series featuring health professionals and eczema patients.  The brief was to produce 4 episodes in video and audio form for release during National Eczema Week.

The Solution

Aside from invaluable advice and information from health professionals, ‘More Than “Just An Itch”: Understanding Eczema’ contains some very personal and heartwarming stories; from Kate and Sanjay and their son Sachin on what it’s like to parent a child with eczema, to Chloe and Jack who compare notes on living with the condition as adults.

We worked with the National Eczema Society team to define tone of voice, show structure and discussion topics.  We engaged a professional host for the series, researched the guests, planned and scripted episodes and created cover artwork.

The series was recorded in high quality audio and HD video in a studio with wraparound screens branded in line with the cover artwork and wider campaign collateral. The show was edited, mastered and graded, distributed to all major podcast platforms and published in video form to YouTube and National Eczema Society website.  Video clips were provided for social media promotion.

“We recently collaborated with Trisonic for a charity podcast series, and we were thoroughly impressed with their service from start to finish. Despite working with tight deadlines, they delivered quality podcasts and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. We highly recommend Trisonic to anyone seeking professional podcast services, and we appreciate their hard work and dedication to producing amazing content for us. Keep up the great work!”
