The Client

BKFC – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship – is a US based promoter which holds bare knuckle fighting events around the world.

The Brief

In Summer 2022 the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship came to the UK for the first time ever.  “BKFC 27” took place at the Ovo Arena, Wembley, London on Saturday 20th August.

Our brief was to promote the event in the London area and drive ticket sales amongst the young male target audience.

The Solution

We needed an audio solution which gave us coverage in London only, but also enabled us to reach the young male target audience in the right environments, which we knew from insights were music and sport.

We selected a mix of linear radio and digital audio for both verticals. Linear radio was selected as the primary media for the music environment, along with a proportion of digital audio to reach listeners listening via a connected device. For Sports fans it was digital audio all the way, because it’s the only option to target sports content on a regional basis.
