The Betty Crocker brand of easy baking products was founded in 1921 and is famous throughout the World.

The Brief

Parents are looking for ideas of activities to do during half term so that kids don’t get bored. Outdoor activities are limited as the weather outside is getting worse – parents also want to find activities that will allow them to spend quality time with their kids. Betty Crocker’s Bake Your Halloween Characters campaign is designed to encourage parents to bake their own Halloween characters with their children.

The Solution

Keeping your children interested and occupied during Half Term holidays is a constant challenge, and this commercial is designed to appeal to both adults and children. In fact, it was scheduled to be transmitted at peak school run times so it needed to appeal to kids as well as their parents. So we made it fun, and something both could identify with.
